A Simple Idea to Help Small Businesses Catch Every Call
MicroCall is a 24/7 virtual receptionist service designed to help small businesses capture missed calls, collect customer details, and book appointments automatically.

I’ve been working with small businesses for a while now — electricians, plumbers, shop owners, and other solo operators. One thing I keep seeing over and over is how many customers they lose just because they miss calls. Most of them are busy on a job, driving, or closed for the day, and by the time they call back, the customer has already moved on to someone else.
So I started thinking: what if small businesses had something that could answer calls for them instantly, even when they’re unavailable? Not a complicated system, not a call center — just a simple tool that picks up the phone, takes the message, books the appointment, and keeps the customer from leaving.
That’s how MicroCall came to life.
**What MicroCall Does**
- Answers calls after hours or when the business is busy
- Collects customer details
- Books appointments directly into the business’s calendar
- Makes sure no customer is lost because the call went to voicemail
It’s basically a small, affordable “virtual receptionist” that works 24/7.
**Why It Matters**
Most small businesses don’t have the budget for staff or call centers. Missing calls is normal for them — but it’s also expensive. MicroCall gives them a simple way to stay responsive without changing how they work.
It’s not meant to replace anyone. It’s just meant to help them keep the customers they already earned.
**Who It Helps**
- Tradespeople
- Local shops
- Freelancers
- Anyone who works hands‑on and can’t always pick up the phone
**What I’m Looking For**
I’m sharing this concept to find people who might want to collaborate — whether on the tech side, the design, or even outreach. I believe this can genuinely help a lot of small businesses, and I’d like to build it with people who see the same potential.text
